Hilltop Country Club is located just one mile South of Wahoo just off Highway 77 on County Road J. We are only 25 miles North of Lincoln and 25 miles West of Omaha.
The golf course is set on 36 acres of rolling hills with Oak tree lined fairways and smaller, speedy greens. The scorecard shows a shorter course (6,208 from the tips) indicating an easier course to play, but you’ll be the first to admit it’s harder than it looks, after you’re all through. You might play all day without a level lie making every shot challenging. Here you will learn to hit a 60 degree wedge over trees or punch out with a 3 iron if your tee shot strays off to either side. Hit the ball well off the tee and your scorecard will show it.
Members don’t need any tee times. They just show up and tee off whenever the first tee is open and there is hardly ever a wait. We provide men’s, women’s and couples league weekly. There are numerous member-only tournaments and night golf tournaments with different formats throughout the year. We also have a few scrambles open to non-members throughout the year that are sponsored by local merchants. There are plenty of different golfing events to choose from that are offered here at Hilltop.
Hilltop Country Club offers a comfortable and unique lounge to its members. It’s a great place to relax with friends after a long day on the course or to stop in for a cocktail with the family. We have a newly remodeled dining room which seats up to 150 guests. A great place for banquets, meetings, parties, or weddings that is $50 for members. At Hilltop Country Club, we provide the surroundings, staff, and services that cater to today’s busy family.
